The advantages commonly claimed by supporters who use yoga balls include: improved posture, increased strength, reduced costs, and cool factors. Cool factor- Many companies are trying to create an interesting atmosphere for their employees, and walking into a room full of colored spheres, rather than standard gray and black office chairs, can produce a very pleasant visual effect. It\'s really cool for companies to do something so different, outside of normal things, like business has been doing. Despite these advantages, there are some drawbacks to using yoga balls instead of regular office chairs. Height- Most balls don\'t put a person at the proper height of keyboard typing on a standard table. This can cause the shoulder muscles to flow when the person tries to keep the arm typing up. Unprofessional- While there may be no problem in some industries, it may be difficult for people sitting on brightly colored balls to take seriously. For example, a bank customer applying for a loan to buy a house may wonder if it is a good idea to have a debt with this particular bank while trying to chat with a loan officer sitting on a huge sphere. Fatigue- While it is true that sitting on these balls can exercise, it can also lead to exhaustion at the end of the day. It would be great if you had yoga balls and regular office chairs. But if you only have one space and you choose a yoga ball, you will regret it. Sometimes you want to rest, recline, or stretch in your chair. It\'s hard to do these things on a yoga ball. Adjustments- On a regular office chair, one can scroll directly from the front of the keyboard to other parts of the table, for example, they may need to fill in some paperwork. Sitting on a yoga ball, it\'s hard to reposition yourself. In addition to the slight movement from one side to the other, one must stand up, set the ball, and then sit down again. Overall, the concept of using a yoga ball or chair in the office is fun, but gimmicks. The idea is perfectly acceptable if you have room for a ball and a regular chair, as long as the atmosphere is still professional enough to do what needs to be done.
